Watermark the Images You Share
Add your brand name or logo to the images you send out — catalogue photos for WhatsApp, supplier decks, reseller sheets and social creatives. Pick a position, set the opacity, apply it to a dozen images at once and download.
Everything runs on your device. The images never reach a server, which matters when you are working with supplier photography and unreleased catalogues.
Where a Watermark Belongs — and Where It Does Not
This tool is built for the images you share outside a listing: catalogue images forwarded on WhatsApp, reseller sheets, supplier decks, and social posts. Those travel through many hands, and a visible mark makes casual copying harder to pass off.
Marketplace listing images are a different matter. Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho all publish image guidelines, and those guidelines restrict overlays such as watermarks, logos and added text on main product images. Check the current policy for the marketplace you sell on before adding a watermark to anything you upload to a listing — the rules are set by each marketplace and do change.
Text or Logo
A text watermark needs nothing but your brand name, and is drawn with a soft shadow so a white mark stays readable over a pale product background. Pick white or black depending on the photo.
A logo watermark takes a PNG, JPG or WebP. A PNG with a transparent background sits on the photo rather than in a box, so that is usually the file you want.
Placement, Size and Tiling
Nine placements cover the usual corners and edges, inset slightly so the mark does not touch the frame. Size is measured against the image's long edge, so one setting looks consistent across portrait and landscape photos.
Tiling repeats the mark across the whole image instead. It is harder to crop out, which suits catalogue images that get forwarded repeatedly, though it sits over the product more heavily than a single corner mark.
Formats and Transparency
An image that already has a transparent background is written as PNG so that transparency survives. Flattening it to JPEG would fill those pixels with a colour you never chose.
Otherwise each image keeps the format it arrived in, so a JPG stays a JPG and does not quietly double in size. One image downloads on its own; several download together as a ZIP.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add a watermark to an image?+
Upload the image, type your brand text or choose a logo, then pick a placement and opacity. Press Apply watermark and download the result. Up to 12 images can be watermarked in one pass with the same settings.
Can I watermark my marketplace listing photos?+
Check the marketplace's own image guidelines first. Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho restrict overlays such as watermarks, logos and text on main product images, and those rules are set by each marketplace. This tool is aimed at the images you share outside a listing — catalogue photos, WhatsApp catalogues, supplier decks and social creatives.
Does SellerPrints add its own watermark to my files?+
Never. No SellerPrints tool brands or watermarks your output — that remains true everywhere on the site. This tool adds a watermark only because you asked it to, using the text or logo you chose.
Will a transparent PNG stay transparent?+
Yes. An image with real transparency is saved as PNG so the transparent areas survive. Other images keep the format they came in as.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?+
No. The images are read, watermarked and saved entirely in your browser, and closing the tab discards them. Nothing is sent to a server.
How many images can I watermark at once?+
Twelve per batch, up to 20 MB each. They all receive the same watermark settings, and download together as a ZIP.
Can I move the watermark anywhere on the image?+
You can choose any of nine placements — the corners, the edge midpoints and the centre — or tile the mark across the whole image. Free positioning by dragging is not offered.
